Good Day Bruce, I have just finished reading your book "The Stick", and thoroughly enjoyed it. As a life long fan of the game, I never tire of the many nuances associated with it. I remember as an eleven year old boy going down to the old Corral and watching the Calgary Cowboys and visiting teams practice and waiting around to collect sticks. I wish I had kept some of those gems from the likes of Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Danny Lawson et al. I even had a cracked goalie stick from Don "Smokey" Macleod which had a big Banana curve on it. In the book you mentioned Ron Hextall as the first goalie to use a curve in the NHL. I had a chuckle at the memory. I was hoping to have you sign my copy of "The Stick".
