| Mr. Dowbiggin, I have just finished reading the Stick and I enjoyed it very much. Please, let me tell you of my experiences with sticks. I am a 64 year old Canadian Forces retiree and I still play the game 4 times per week. We are a bunch of retirees and we are having as much fun as when we were kids. One of my early thrills was when my mother, who did'nt know Rocket Richard from Bill Durnan, brought home a Northland for me. Much to my delight , I had a picture of Gordie Howe with a Northland... wow!!! I was at a Jesuit school in Montreal and I was happy with whatever stick I was given. Later on in the Forces, if I had a choice , I would take a Sher_Wood 5030 and stuck with them as long as they were supplied. Now my favourite stick is whatever is on sale at our local Canadian Tire Store; regardless of colour, graphics or whose name is on it. Thanks for letting me rave on and letting me take up your time.
