| Mr. Dowbiggin, As a person who always loved the pro's sticks I was able to buy the St. Louis Blues extra sticks in 1983 when they were owned by Ralston-Purina. The manager at the practice rink would make the sticks available to me. One day Norm Mackie had come in with Jack Carlson and I had to "hide." I was locked in the stick room!!!! Amazing to be in the room with 100 dozen sticks new and used from my favourite NHL players!!! I came to the rink with $300 and left with $25. Enough to buy gas and food and go to the credit union for a loan!!! Brian Sutter's, Bernie Federko's, Doug Gilmour's, and Perry Turnbull's. Wow!!!
